Farm Equipment Sector (FES) is one of the Six Sectors of M&M. This sector is engaged in design, manufacture and marketing of agricultural tractors. Founded in 1963, FES is the undisputed Leader of Indian Tractor market for last 21 years. In addition to this FES has a very strong International presence, exporting about 10 % of its production to various countries. USA is being the most prominent one, which accounts for about 90% of total export of FES. The manufacturing facilities of FES consist of two integrated plants at Mumbai and Nagpur and two Satellite Assembly plants. The FES operations are further supported by about 400 Suppliers and 450 Dealers spread throughout India. FES is using the TQM approach for last over a decade and achieved the honour of winning the coveted Deming Application Prize last year. Prior to that the operations of the organization were certified to International Standards QS 9000, ISO 9000:2000 and ISO 14001.
